The service was warm and attentive. When the car window got smashed during nighttime parking in Los Angeles, the vehicle replacement was very efficient.

The Budget SFO branch had a long queue, but one staff member (an elderly Asian man) was working very slowly, taking over 30 minutes with one customer while 20 people waited behind. This was very frustrating. The young man who assisted me was quite fast though.

I booked a Corolla but received a Ford SUV without any extra charges. At the time of pickup, I mentioned an additional service, and they didn’t push for any upsells.

Budget rental was really impressive! First, at pick-up: They initially didn't have the Tahoe model we booked, so they provided another SUV of the same class. When we saw a Tahoe in the garage, we asked the staff and they patiently helped us switch to the preferred model. During the rental period: Unfortunately, our car window was broken in San Francisco (no items were lost). We immediately contacted Budget customer service, and within 10 minutes they helped us with the registration and guided us on how to switch cars. That evening, we went to San Francisco airport and exchanged for another Tahoe. The process was quick and convenient. Since the insurance covered everything, there were no extra costs.

Queueing rules are generally well-followed abroad.
