I wanted the car I rented, an economy car. I did not want an SUV. I doubt that I would rent from Routes again. Although I rented for a reasonable price, the add ons for insurance, some of which I did not really need, I found very irritating.

The car I received was fantastic - new, clean, comfortable, well equipped and in great condition. Exactly what was required and at a fantastic rate.

Very easy to book, clear and simple.

Ended up with a Jeep Wrangler Sahara. Only other choice was a Dodge Durango. We preferred to have a smaller vehicle for better gas mileage. The Jeep was “cool”, but buffeted a lot in the wind on the freeway. And it only got 19 mpg. Routes did compensate us with a half tank of free gas, as we complained and requested such upon accepting the car.

Like: Everything from start to finish was very efficient.
