The staff was friendly and efficient. The car inspection was fairly casual, taking about a minute to check for major issues before immediately refunding the deposit. Very high efficiency. The car provided was a hybrid Corolla, which is incredibly fuel-efficient and has great luggage capacity.

Everything went smoothly. Adding an extra driver costs 15 AUD. They usually recommend insurance and toll road tokens. If you use navigation to avoid toll roads, you won't need to spend extra on that. My biggest tip is to book the standard order on QEEQ without customization to save money.

Horrible pick up experience. Dialled the qeeq provided number. Phone tree maze. Connected me to hertz. Restarted, same rubbish. Had to answer a bunch of ‘confirmation’ questions instead of a simple “we’ll be right there”. Manager on site was too busy for me, so waited until he called an employee in.

Price drop DID work. And that was a valuable benefit

Everything was perfect except the phone didn’t answer. The recorded message said we had to stay on the line to arrange pickup, but then on all 3 phone numbers we were put through to a message bank and there was a message “the message bank of (number) is full. Please try again later. Not only us but two other renters did the same. There was a lot of anxiety and stress which was unnecessary even though the shuttle came within about 15 mins.
