It's surprising that such a big company doesn't have a POS machine. Manual entry had to be used for payment, and since I used a HSBC card, the bank saw it as a risky transaction and froze the merchant's account. I couldn't rent the car as a result.

I waited just over 2 hours to pick up my vehicle. Then the seat belts weren't set up properly leading to further delays. Despite the best efforts of the staff who were friendly and helpful, they just couldn't cope with the volume of demands placed on them. Also vehicle drop off was a 45 minute wait, very disorganized and not enough staff. again staff were friendly and helpful but overwhelmed with customers to deal with. It was very disappointing and I will NOT choose Hertz again because of this.
