The Car condition was good. But there was no one to personally hand over the car. They just give you the parking number where the car is parked and you have to do all the inspection and check the car yourself. it will be good if a person comes along with you to the car and hands over. The thing I did not like is, though I had done all the Insurance, the guy at the counter over sells with unnecessary things by telling that it is better to take additional safty by paying 45USD to protect against tire punctures and other small mishaps by inducing fear into you. He also tried to sell another scheme where the petrol need not be full when you return the car. Adding all this your hire charges goes up significantly.

Overall satisfied, the car pickup process went smoothly without many issues.

There were long queues, but the service was good and the pick-up and return process was easy.

Airline problems, caused an inventory issue. Had to wait over an hour for a car. Grabbed a bit to eat, only one place on road/ground side . CLT is never going to be complete. Finally got a vehicle, happy with anything. Exchanged it 24 hours later! Dirty interior windshield, rear seat belt fault, then tire leak. Return to airport, and painless exchange, just an extra 2 hours lost. Wound up with a KIA Soul for 60 days, never was stolen.

The counter server upsold extras that were not required and was deliberately vague about some of them, making some sound essential and others to be better value then they were. My first car got a puncture / flat tyre. The call centre I dealt with gave appalling service twice and sent me to the wrong depot for a replacement. The staff organising the replacement were also abrupt and condescending. The drop off was very quick and efficient but I would never use Dollar / Thrifty again.
