Overall service was good, and the staff were very friendly. I originally chose an X-Trail but got a Ford KUGA instead (same price). The car was very new, with less than 7000 km. The return process was quick. After parking the car in the rental company's lot, the staff checked if the fuel tank was full and briefly inspected the car's exterior. Everything was fine But a few days later, I noticed a charge of AUD 31.75 for fuel on my credit card. I had refueled the car at the BP station next to the airport right before returning it, within an hour. Not sure what the reason was, but I don't want to pursue it further.

Well, this was an experience that almost ruined the entire Spring Festival. Things went smoothly in Sydney, where I easily picked up the car with just my driver's license without needing a translation. However, here the counter required a translated copy. I had personally translated and printed it, but the clerk said it wasn't acceptable—it needed to be done by a certified translation company. While I was looking for a solution, I saw him reject at least three Chinese couples for the same reason. I asked one of them and they said the clerk required a notarized translation. I was stunned. Asked the nearby AVIS, but they had no cars available. Although I eventually sorted it out, still...

Rented from Melbourne and returned in Hobart. At that time, Budget was the only company that could meet this requirement. Both the rental and return processes were smooth. Later, I received a charge of 16.84 AUD, probably due to a traffic violation.
