We rented a car in Guanajuato. We mentioned that we were going to Mexico City, which has driving restrictions. The staff promptly helped us apply for a 'city entry permit,' and our journey was smooth without any issues. The staff member also advised us not to give money if the police asked for it, suggesting we call them instead to handle the situation. Returning the car was quick, and although we didn't wash it, it wasn't really dirty. After returning the car, they even gave us a ride to our terminal.

The staff aggressively recommended a policy costing over $50 per day. Very unpleasant!

When we arrived, they said there were no cars available, and then took us to another rental company KMG. The car had scratches everywhere, and it was hard to document them all. Later, when returning the car, the young guy claimed that a certain spot was damaged by us, but we were very careful and had no incidents at all. He tried to charge us an extra 200 pesos service fee, which was never mentioned before. They deducted money from my card, and my friend's credit card was also charged, so we paid twice!
