Great vehicle at a great rate

The service was very average. I rented a car in Dubai before, and the difference is significant. Basically, there is no service at all. There were scratches on the car, and they only took photos after I repeatedly reminded them. Otherwise, they would just hand you the keys and leave. They didn't explain things like how to use the various car light switches or refueling info. Midway through the drive, a warning popped up about low tire pressure in one of the wheels, which shows that they didn't properly maintain the vehicle before handing it over.

The counter only has two staff members, so you need to queue up to handle the procedures. Arrive early as many people pick up their cars after 10 o'clock.

The biggest advantage of East Coast is the low price, but the condition of the car is average. The car always veers to the right, maybe due to alignment issues or insufficient tire pressure (I have 5 years of driving experience). The store and the pickup point are on opposite sides of the street, in a parking lot on the 10th floor of another building. The door to the parking lot is hard to find, it's best to ask a local for directions, it took me at least 30 minutes. When returning the car, there was a mistake due to the staff (incorrect initial mileage record), so we had to go back to the store to correct it! The pickup point was staffed by some Indian guys, no office, and the car I got was dirty, the exterior was very dirty (uncommon in countries with good air quality). Small companies save money, so their service can't be expected to be good.

Long 3 weeks to receive back pre-authorization. Was told that was not allowed to drive to Mount Buller. What if I had rented for this?!?!? Never got this kind of restriction or warning when getting a rental car.

Counter staff is very friendly, however when she did not communicate with the staff that is preparing the vehicle, creating a lot of unnecessary trouble, had to remind the staff regarding the request due to confusion. Staff are in a rush to complete the process just to keep things moving . And informed us to get the insurance from them instead, asking us to get dual insurance to avoid the deposits.
