It's acceptable.

Dollar doesn't have a counter at the airport, and you need to take a shuttle bus. Upon arriving, we asked the airport service desk and were informed to wait for the bus at Gate E. However, the Dollar shuttle doesn't stop at Gate E, and we had to walk quite a distance, almost to the end, to find it. If you're not confident in English, it's more convenient to choose a rental company with an on-site airport counter. The staff didn't try to sell us any insurance but suggested we upgrade to a bigger vehicle. We stuck with our original reservation, which was sufficient, and they didn't push. We carefully noted the route to the rental office, so returning the car was quick and easy, even though the staff wasn't particularly friendly. Fortunately, the car was in good condition, and the whole process only took two minutes. Overall, quite satisfied.

The staff were professional, and even after promoting their services, they didn't insist when I declined. Simple and user-friendly! An excellent experience!

I was disappointed because I was charged more than what I was quoted initially ($8 more). I reserved the car for $51 (including all taxes). But at the counter, the attendant said that it is $58. I showed her my reservation. but she could not do anything.

Like: Good rental rate and free upgrade for the long wait time.
Dislike: Long wait time: took nearly 2 hrs from checking out the vehicle at the Houston Hobby airport to the shuttle bus to having an available vehicle before drive-out.
