The actual car rented was completely different from the original booking. Except for the driver's seat, none of the seats could be adjusted, making it uncomfortable to sit.

When picking up the car, the location didn't have the vehicle I reserved, and the only automatic option was an electric car. They gave me an OPEL electric car that showed a full charge range of over 300 kilometers.
This car can be described as industrial-grade trash. The trunk can only fit one 28-inch suitcase, and the other suitcase had to be placed in the seating area. On the highway, the actual range was only around 150 kilometers, fully experiencing range anxiety. During a 580-kilometer trip, I had to charge it four times.
When picking up the car, there was only one staff member handling customers one by one, which meant long waiting times. It took nearly an hour just to pick up the car. Unlike car rentals in the U.S., where you directly get the car keys at the counter and find the car yourself, this process was much slower. Returning the car also required waiting for the staff to inspect it, unlike in the U.S., where you simply park the car, leave the keys inside, and go.

Quite satisfied. The selected car model was not available at pickup, but they offered two options, and I chose the FORD PUMA small SUV. It had over 60,000 kilometers on it but looked very new. I informed the staff that I had already purchased insurance domestically, and they didn’t object. Everything is digital now; you just confirm and sign on a PAD, and they'll send an email to you. An additional deposit of 200 euros was charged. There are two points to note: First, the pickup time depends on the actual time you go to handle the paperwork. If your original return time aligns exactly with a full day, you’ll be charged for an extra day, so make sure the staff adjusts the return time accordingly. Second, the car doesn’t come with a full tank, and you don’t need to return it with a full tank, but the fuel level must be higher than at pickup. This can be tricky to manage—I ended up adding fuel worth a dozen euros more, and it wasn’t refundable. The deposit was returned within two to three days after the car was dropped off.

I had noticed that one of the plastic part for A/C air redirect was broken. I'd checked the outside thoroughly but didn't do the inside. And it looked fine until I touched it to change the direction. I swear that it wasn't me but what they said was that they hadn't heard about it before so I was responsible for it. Come on. If you guys had done the inspection with a minor effort, this wouldn't have happened in the first place. Shame that I'd had a great time until that moment and it completely ruined the entire experience with Alamo. Alamo would absolutely be my last choice for rentals.

This car had a lot of wear and tear with at least 8 ine items describing them. There was a a persistent whine at when cruising on the motorway, and a disturbing vibration when overtaking on the motorway. The car's warning light for low oil popped up on my drive in to return the car and was alarming.

They share a counter with other companies, but the car model we confirmed on the website wasn't available when we got to the counter. It took a lot of time to switch cars, confirm the model, check prices, and wait for the car to be cleaned, which was very frustrating. With the driving license certification provided by the rental company, we hardly needed to use our actual driving license.

They share a counter with other companies. The car model booked didn't match what was available at the store. Changing cars could incur higher costs, which wasted a lot of time. Changing cars, confirming the model, checking prices, waiting for the car to be cleaned, it was all very frustrating. With the driving license provided by the rental service, you basically don't need your actual driving license.
