Although there was a line, the processing was very efficient. Picking up the car was quick, and returning it was simple. Just make sure to inspect the car during pickup, and it's best to take a video of the vehicle to avoid any issues when returning it.

Car was great apart from the rear windows not coming all the way up. Common on convertibles that are not maintained. Pick up process took nearly 2.5 hours. Ridiculous bad service

The weight time for pick up of the vehicle at 8 am was over 90 minutes. This is totally unacceptable. They only have two windows which they said people out of the taxi exceptionally long amount of time to get your car and you are standing in the heat for that period of time.

There was sand on the carpet in the front of the car and also sand on the centre console. The inside of the windscreen had not been cleaned properly and when the sun hit it, it was hard to see clearly.

My reservation was hiring a convertible car. When I was picking up my car at the rental office, the Hertz staff told me none of convertible cars was available. I was suggested either to wait 20 minutes (actually it took me 1 hour to pick up the car) to pick up a convertible car or accept to pick up a Jeep Wrangler instead. It was totally a terrible experience to rent a car from Hertz.

Hertz pick up service was very poor. We waited over an hour in a line to sort paper work. They directed us to a valet pick up area where we waited another 20 minutes only to be told we needed to catch a shuttle bus to another location on the other side of waikiki to pick up our car. it was a 5-10 minute drive. We finally get our car and get told we need to fill out a drawing and mark all the dents and scratches. We told them photos were more accurate and he mentioned they weren't necessary and that this drawing was needed. Luckily we didn't take his advice and decided to take photos as when we dropped off the car they tried to say we caused a dent in the car - our photos proved that it wasn't us. It wasn't a very good experience at all. Please pass on this feedback

Great car hire however very disappointed that when I booked I saw somewhere it said free additional Driver but when we picked up car this wasn’t the deal and I couldn’t find details anywhere after booking that the free drivel deal was applicable so that was very dissapointing as I booked through this company to get this deal
