Airport Terminal Instructions Airline passenger: Our central Heathrow car rental station is open 24/7 and is a short shuttle bus ride from Terminals 2, 3 and 4. From Terminal 2 you can get the shuttle bus from stops 7 and 8. From Terminal 3 you can get the shuttle from bus stop 17, and from Terminal 4 its bus stop 2. Local renter: Exit M4 Jn 4 sign to LHR. The service was good. At the time of pick-up, they didn’t push me to upgrade the car model or purchase insurance. They simply asked once if I needed insurance. Returning the car went smoothly, and the inspection took less than five minutes. However, there was a small issue. I had booked an automatic MG 3, but when I went to pick up the car, the staff mistakenly gave me a manual Citroën. I didn’t realize it at first and loaded my luggage into the car. Only then did I notice the error. After explaining the situation to the staff, they immediately replaced it with the automatic MG 3 I had originally booked. It didn’t feel intentional but rather an oversight by the staff. Additionally, while waiting for the rental company’s shuttle at Heathrow Airport, there seemed to be some issue with the shuttle service. I waited for over 20 minutes while shuttles from other rental companies made multiple rounds before Budget’s shuttle finally arrived. I almost missed my reserved pick-up time. One more thing: the car I was given had a license plate with the letter "O" in it. The letter "O" and the number "0" are very hard to distinguish, and the rental company didn’t clearly specify whether it was an O or a 0.

Overall service was satisfactory, but during pickup, the staff seemed to treat us differently. We had two families renting cars, and at first, they tried to push me to upgrade. When I refused, I ended up with a Series 1 car, which was very small and not the specified SUV model. However, my friend with the same reservation was upgraded to a Series 3 for free. The only apparent difference was that I was served by a South Asian staff member. Everything else was fine.

The car was great, better than expected. It had lane correction, shift suggestions, adjustable steering column, close vehicle warning, object warning both in front and rear. The car was covered in dirty water that had dried on the car and the inside of the windshield was dirty which was hard to see through when going between full sun and shade. Really liked the Peugeot.

Insurance package for 0 excess quite expensive and come with additional fee. My booking price is 123 GBP. Insurance is 37 GBP as Budget officer told me. At the end, final price is 173 GBP. Additional fee 13 GBP was added up such as License fee and Location surcharge. I think those fee should include in booking price.

The pick up bus at the Heathrow airport is not coming very often late at night (around 8pm). We had to wait around 15 mins while other car rental companies' buses had already past more frequently. We were first offered a vehicle category below the one booked, as the category wasn't available but were only then offered a vehicle which still had to be cleaned which further delayed the process

I was informed the Merc E Class was not available, which is understandable and would expect a ‘similar car’ in this range, however they didn’t have any other car in this category so downgraded me to a C Class which I told them is not big enough. The staff member (Clive) made promises for me to call back and change over the C class for an E class as he was ‘100% sure they will come back in stock’. I called everyday and not once did Clive return my calls nor were the staff helpful. I left 4 voicemails over a 4 day period with nobody returning my calls and even when I got through to staff, they promised to call back and never did.
