The car rental company at Barcelona Airport did not have the reserved seven-seater SEAT ready, and it took too long to find an alternative model.

The wait time wasn't long, but most of the time was spent trying to upsell insurance or vehicle upgrades!

In Málaga, Spain, Budget and Avis are located together. After collecting our luggage, we followed the signs directly to the rental area. There were noticeably fewer staff at Budget compared to Goladcar next door. The service staff's English was just enough for communication. We added full insurance, which is very necessary. However, the TOMTOM GPS device was not very good. The guy at the parking lot when returning the car was also very friendly.

budget / avis believed car was not full to fill fuel policy. Had to persist and show the print out. A little frustrating. Also car needed a service and had a fault gearstick.
