AVIS is located near Los Angeles Airport, with free shuttle service that takes about 5 minutes to reach. It's a large building with a variety of car models, probably thousands of vehicles ready for rental. I arrived at night, and there were few people renting cars, so the process went smoothly. The staff checked my domestic driver's license with its accompanying translation, took a credit card deposit, and provided a ticket indicating the location of my car in the underground parking garage. After getting the ticket, I went downstairs to find the car. Before driving off, I inspected the car's exterior for scratches or damage. Most of the nearby vehicles seemed to have varying degrees of damage, but the staff assured me this wasn't an issue as they were aware of it. Nevertheless, I took photos for records to avoid potential disputes later. Overall, the car rental process was very efficient.

It's okay, but it would be better if vehicle maintenance was explained when renting.

The rental process was indeed convenient. However, there is one issue I'm unsure about. After returning home, I noticed my credit card was still being charged by AVIS, which seems to be for toll fees. No one informed me about this at the time.
