A very satisfying car rental experience

This satisfaction is for the car rental company, definitely not for QEEQ; a frustrating car rental experience. Picked up the car in Toronto on November 1st, had pre-booked for a one-way rental, but was told at the counter that the one-way fee of nearly 3000 CAD wasn't included, even though we clearly paid QEEQ, which included the one-way fee. We called the clueless customer service in China and they confirmed with the car rental company, but the car rental company was sure the one-way fee wasn't included and even showed us the order. QEEQ customer service said it might be an internal issue, which delayed our trip that day. QEEQ's mistake is extremely low-level for being in a foreign country! Please share widely for resolution!

Couldn't rent because I didn't have a translated document. A staff member, who seemed to be Filipino, was very bureaucratic and said the police would cause trouble, and insurance claims would be difficult, blah blah blah. In fact, it's not a big issue. There are many notarization companies that can handle this in 5 minutes with a phone call, but they didn't tell me. They only explained the company policies. I found a notary company on my own and sorted it out immediately. I've decided never to rent from National again.

Very satisfied with the rental this time. Convenient and fast. I will rent again next time.

Like: The car was new, in great condition and everything was working perfectly. Drop off was extremely quick and efficient and I really appreciated that. I would gladly rent again!
Dislike: The location was a little hard to find and when I tried to phone to receive directions, nobody answered. However, I ended up asking airport staff how to get in and they told me.
