Went smoothly

Booked a Camry but got a Holden R5 instead, which was too wide. Already not used to right-hand drive; requested full cover insurance at pickup and confirmed paid nothing, but the contract showed a $2500 excess. If there was an accident, it would cost nearly $20,000. Such a scam.

Overall service was good, and the staff were very friendly. I originally chose an X-Trail but got a Ford KUGA instead (same price). The car was very new, with less than 7000 km. The return process was quick. After parking the car in the rental company's lot, the staff checked if the fuel tank was full and briefly inspected the car's exterior. Everything was fine But a few days later, I noticed a charge of AUD 31.75 for fuel on my credit card. I had refueled the car at the BP station next to the airport right before returning it, within an hour. Not sure what the reason was, but I don't want to pursue it further.

The location of this branch is easy to find, just a one-minute walk from the airport exit. The staff were friendly and recommended upgrading the car and insurance. Since it was my first time driving a right-hand drive in Melbourne, I decided to be cautious. Both picking up and returning the car were very convenient, especially the return process, possibly because I bought full insurance. I will consider this company again next time. Great service.
