Fantastic

Customer reception was a little dodgy. I was pressured to pay for an upgrade. The company didn't actually have the compact vehicle I had booked, but did not disclose this. I persevered with my booked smaller vehicle and the company rep had to admit that they could only supply a larger vehicle (for no extra cost). The vehicle also had some cosmetic damage that was not disclosed. I had to take my own photos to prove to Hertz that the vehicle had some damage that their own pre-rental inspection did not show.

Excellent service - will use it again!

The car although clean and no dents HEAVILY smelt like someone was heavy smoking in it for a whole week. Sadly this was the only car available but I can't believe this is even considered renta-able. It was a disgusting smell throughout the whole booking but the car did the job I needed it for. Was a surprise though that insurance was a whopping $50 per day! The drop off keys box outside the building is alittle concerning that anyone can come and take the key. No security there.

Include option for additional cover. It was very expensive at the desk.

Hertz had offer to upgrade my Car for addition A$10 a day. However, as I had bought the full coverage insurance thru Easyrentcars. They wasn't able to advice to the insurance impact and thus we were unable to upgrade our car on the spot.
