Thanks for your review. Usually a deposit will be held as a guarantee by car rental companies at pick-up. This will be fully released or refunded if there is no damage/theft of the vehicle or any due payment after car return. Please note that this does not represent your total excess liability which can be found in the Insurance Coverage/ Excess liability section. Agent was not able to honour the price agreed. He insisted I paid for additional insurance I did not want or need as I have a credit card that covers car insurance. He repeated refused to accept my position. He just said he could not let me have car without an extra insurance payment that was four times the cost of the rental itself. The only choice he gave me was to take it or walk away with no car. I shall never book with them again unless this issue is explained properly.
