When I presented my chip card, she claimed it couldn't retrieve the information and kept rambling that only Chinese cards couldn't be read worldwide. I told her that I could use my card at other rental companies, but she said there was nothing she could do, and they couldn’t rent us a car. Later, after calling her supervisor, I switched to another card, which was still a Chinese chip card, and she still insisted it couldn't retrieve the information. The supervisor said as long as it was a chip card, it was fine, and only then did she let us proceed.

The process was convenient, the car was in great condition! The service was excellent, no pressure to buy insurance. The staff were very friendly. Returning the car was especially convenient, Hertz's management was very efficient, they inspected the car on the spot, printed the receipt, and the deposit was refunded instantly.

I wanted to change the car model on site, but due to language barriers, I wanted to cancel the previous order and pay again, but was told that it wasn't possible. I had to take the car as per the original order. It took quite a long time, about an hour, and the service personnel seemed a bit impatient.
