Loved Avis, so straight forward!

Building up a relationship with QEEQ, I keep re booking through them so zero complaints

The initial car was not as good as expected - it had a few minor dents, some scratches and marks on the outside. The cabin and interior was however clean and the vehicle drove well. There was a bit of wait- time at the location due to customer volume. However, the staff were courteous and helpful. The uploaded pictures show the first vehicle and the second one we changed.

It was a great booking platform. I did have initial concerns of the authenticity and integrity of the platform, but it all worked out very well. The option I chose included all the relevant insurance coverage as well as local costs for rental in California. This made the booking so much more convenient and I did not have to pay any extra fees. I was however billed an extra $23 for what was described as 'non-pkg' costs. These costs were not detailed in the final statement. QEEQ is really a good booking platform which I will definitely use for future travels.

The vehicle was not prepared for rental. It had not been cleaned and was not re-fuelled. The lack of fuel was reported to Avis before we left the rental lot. I paid for a full tank of gas, On returning the vehicle, I complained about the lack of preparation, cleanliness and missing gas. The only thing Avis was prepared to do was refund the charge for gas. It remains to be seen whether this gets paid. The vehicle itself wasn't great. There was a loud annoying squeak that was irrutating throughout the 2 week rental. The ride of the vehicle could best be describes as 'agricultural', i.e. not very comfortable.

Booking process was okay. No benefit from price drop protector.

Like: Manager made it easy.
Dislike: Some of the staff not very happy?
