I responsibly say that if you can rent a car directly through the car rental company, do not use third-party agents because it's a hassle. I used a car in Queenstown, New Zealand for 13 days. Initially, I wanted to rent directly, but Hertz told me on the phone that there were no cars available (I needed the car quite urgently). Later, I found that QEEQ could rent Hertz cars, so I placed an order through QEEQ and paid in full. I chose Hertz because of its high reliability, although the insurance is expensive, the cars are new, and there are few disputes. I ended up paying more through QEEQ, and while I did get a car, the process was very unpleasant. Here's the details: I bought Hertz’s full insurance with zero deductible through QEEQ. Having used Hertz in the US, I was quite sensitive about the insurance and called QEEQ to confirm if the full insurance was a Hertz package before paying, and was assured it was. But on the day I picked up the car in New Zealand, the Hertz staff told me the insurance I purchased only covered the car itself and third-party liability. I contacted QEEQ customer service on the spot, but couldn't get the issue resolved. The customer service told me to buy the insurance myself and solve the issue after I return the car. Since there were many people waiting to pick up cars, I had no choice but to buy the insurance. After returning to my country, I contacted after-sales to solve the issue, but was told that I misunderstood the insurance content and that the customer service gave me an accurate explanation without misleading me. So, in the end, I could only laugh bitterly. The basic logic is simple: once you spend the money, you're at a disadvantage. So, I seriously advise everyone not to rent cars through third parties. Book directly through the rental company’s website, it’s cheaper, the fees are clear, and any disputes can be resolved directly. I will never use QEEQ again. Very poor rating, especially for after-sales! They confuse the content to sell their insurance, it's impossible to give a good rating.
