However, one minor issue was the tolls on the highway, which could be paid either in cash or via the ETC system. I wasn't informed about this at the time. Fortunately, my friend saw an English instruction in the rental information indicating that I could use ETC and the fee would be charged to my credit card, so I was able to proceed smoothly.
