Although my English is not very good, using translation software was no problem. The staff were very patient and explained all the fees clearly. I chose the full-to-empty fuel policy. Especially during the return process, I accidentally drove into the departure parking area instead of the arrival parking lot where I was supposed to return the car. The parking area was too large, and I couldn't find my way to the correct spot. Fortunately, a staff member kindly assisted me in driving the car to the return location. Very nice! Returning the car was very convenient—just handed it over to the staff. The deposit was released quickly, much faster than the one-month wait they mentioned earlier. The car was in great condition, and I recommend bringing an iPhone to use CarPlay navigation and a phone holder. Overall, it was a great experience.

The front desk staff at Alamo in Toronto were very professional. They went through their terms one by one and tried to upsell various products. Since I had already bought comprehensive insurance on QEEQ, I said 'no' to everything, and they didn't give me a hard time. At pickup, they initially gave me a small Ford SUV, but I refused it since it wasn't what I had booked. After insisting, they switched it to a Nissan Rogue, which I preferred. Thus began my journey across North America.

The location is right on the first floor of the Toronto airport terminal, very convenient. No extra sales push, just asked if I needed the super cover. Returning the car was a bit of a hassle due to the navigation issue. When we arrived, there were a few returns happening. They briefly checked the car and issued a receipt from a handheld device in no time.

The staff were so nice that they upgraded our car.
