Firstly, the vehicle categorization is unreasonable. I rented a compact car but was given a Jeep. They told me it falls under the same category as a compact car. Driving a Jeep on the German highway is slow and fuel-inefficient, with a consumption of 17 liters per 100 kilometers, and I had to stay in the slow lane with trucks! Also, I was driving alone and didn't need such a large vehicle, which was also difficult to park in the city! Additionally, Thrifty provided a Hertz car. After picking it up in Frankfurt and driving to my company in a smaller city, I couldn't exchange it at a local Hertz office. After a week of inconvenience, I had to drive over 100 kilometers back to Frankfurt to switch the car!
