Thirdly, they don't show you the contract before you sign it. Normally, a regular store would explain the insurance coverage first, and then let you review the completed contract before signing it. Fourthly, when picking up the car, you must carefully inspect it for any scratches or issues because they won't tell you if there are any problems. If you find issues after taking the car, it will be hard to argue when returning it, and you may face high penalties. I almost got scammed myself, but fortunately, I found two small holes in the windshield before driving away. I asked the staff to note it down, and she reluctantly did so. I pointed out that such damage couldn't have been unknown to her, yet she didn't inform me. This experience taught me to be very cautious when renting a car abroad. Don't try to save a little money at a higher cost; always opt for full insurance.
