The overall service was excellent, much better than some small rental companies. The whole process was straightforward with no unnecessary chatter and no insurance upsell. They even silently upgraded the car from a compact vehicle to a Volvo S90.

Pretty good

The reserved model was completely unavailable. Two E-Class Mercedes Benzes were booked, but upon arrival and discussion with the staff, it was revealed that they did not have these models. When asked why they were still available for reservation online, they said they didn't know.

I rented from Europcar and my friend rented from AVIS. At Europcar, there were staff at both the pickup and drop-off points in the parking lot. However, at my friend's rental company, sometimes there were staff and sometimes not. The guy at Europcar in Frankfurt train station was great, very enthusiastic, and did not try to up-sell anything.

During our self-drive trip in Germany, we had a minor accident with a broken rear window. EUROPCAR's local staff quickly handled the necessary paperwork and provided us with a new car in no time. This made the rest of our trip safe and enjoyable! Many thanks!
