All went perfectly fine. Efficient and smooth

Awful rental company. When we picked up the car, the fuel gauge was at 2/8. The staff even wrote down this amount in their records and told us to return it with the same fuel level. When returning the car, we specifically mentioned the fuel level to the staff, and they said it was okay. Now they want to charge us a high fee for not filling up the tank. Absolutely outrageous! Such companies should be boycotted! They try every possible way to extract money from customers, having no conscience at all!

When we arrived at this distant pickup location, we found it inexplicably closed. There was a note on the door telling us to go to another train station address to get the car. Couldn't they have sent an email or a message in advance if that was the case? We had to quickly check the map and head to the other location. Since they had changed locations, the new office wasn't prepared with the necessary documents. We had to redo the contract. The staff were polite and there was no queue, but the process was very slow. The car was not the one we originally booked, though its condition was good. We ended up picking up the car at 12 PM instead of 10 AM, which delayed our entire schedule.

The lady at the Lyon branch was very friendly and fluent in English, so communication was not an issue. However, requiring the driver's credit card for a deposit caught me off guard, citing a new policy.

Hertz staff at the airport were awful. Refused to speak English. Very rude. Didn't give us any information or speak to us or tell us where the car was even. Just demanded the credit card then shoved a piece of paper at us. When i asked where the car was she just waved outside. Awful lady. Car also filthy outside.

Booking process good. Price fair. Nothing negative to say about easy rental cars
