Like: Pickup was efficient, as Alamo / National vans were all over. check in was quick. Car was a new Impala, and ran well, and looked great. I fit all of my golf equipment in. Checking was quick and efficient and the van was waiting to bring me back. THE PRICE WAS EXCELLENT.

Alamo Car Rental is very professional. Showed the rental slip at pickup and drove off with the car in a minute. For drop-off, just handed over the keys and left. I expected some additional charges like a car wash fee, but there were no extra costs. Simple and fast.

Picking up the car in downtown San Francisco was very convenient. After returning the car at Los Angeles Airport, ALAMO provided a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport, which was great. The customer service staff tried hard to sell prepay fuel and insurance, but we politely declined. One star was deducted because the reserved FORD ESCAPE was unavailable at pick-up, and we were given a Dodge MPV instead. While practical, it was not suitable for mountain roads.

No extra charges, very good. They added road assistance upon my request. Returning the car was extremely easy and quick. The car model was also great, upgraded from the booked RAV4, with a backup camera and Bluetooth, which was a pleasant surprise.
