I was initially given a very rundown Mirage that felt like it would fall apart while driving. I asked them to replace it, and they gave me a Kia Forte, which was still old but much better. However, when I was leaving and asked for a new receipt, I noticed they were charging me an extra $5 per day, which they hadn’t informed me about at all. Later, when I returned the car, I argued with them about this fee, but they changed the topic and suddenly claimed there was a crack in the trunk. I responded by asking if their system had recorded it, since such a noticeable crack was already there when I picked up the car. They stayed silent, and the attitudes of the two female employees were awful, refusing to waive the charge. While the amount wasn’t much, it was extremely frustrating. As I was rushing to catch my flight, I decided to let it go. I’ve rented cars many times through Zuzuche, and my three worst experiences have all been at Atlanta Airport. The cars from Thrifty and Dollar tend to be old, which I could overlook, but I specifically booked with Hertz expecting a better experience, only to receive this kind of treatment. I’ve now realized that this isn’t just a one-off occurrence but rather a common problem.
