COUNTER: New Terminal A arrival instructions: You will see airport signs directing you to the rental car facility. Please proceed over the sky bridge and into the garage. Take the escalator to the 3rd floor, where you will find our facility. Terminals B and C Arrivals: From the baggage claim, follow signs to the Air Train. Exit the train at Terminal A. Proceed downstairs to the exit and follow the Parking Garage signs to the right. Continue walking straight for approximately 5 minutes to the 1st floor parking garage lobby. Take the escalator to the 3rd floor, where you will find our facility.

The Enterprise Rent-A-Car Counter will be directly to your right hand side after exiting the sky bridge. For terminal B and C arrivals, Enterprise Rent-A-Car is located by following the signage to the Air Train. Depart the Air Train at station P2 and proceed down the escalator to the outside where the signage will indicate a short walk to the Rental Car Center. For terminal B and C arrivals, National Car Rental is located by following the signage to the Air Train. Depart the Air Train at the Terminal A station. After exiting the air train proceed down the escalator and turn right out of the sliding door. Walk along the sidewalk outside, then directly through the interior hallway. Take the Escalator up to the 2nd floor. Proceed up the escalator and to the right to the counter to obtain your rental agreement.

Please proceed to the SIXT rental desk to pick up your car. To get to the Rental Cars Center, Please go to Terminal A Level 1 Baggage Claims. You will then make a right to the escalator or elevator to the second level. Once on the second level, walk through the sliding doors to the car rental center walk way (Signs will be above the doors). Once through the walk way, make a right to the escalator down to the first level to the Branch.

I've booked Corolla n got a similar one Kia which i felt was a downgrade and the car condition was not the best...right side of the car had lots of scratches and dented and the lady at newark was super gruchy, not friendly at all. However, return at Albany Airport, the staff was much more helpful and friendier

(A) very rude and unprofessional staff on pickup desk. (B) lied about battery charge status % to be returned (c) booking no where mentioned that EV charger and EV charge cable will.not be provided / optionally chargeable. Would never recommend thrifty company and EV vehicle to anyone for rental . It wasted lot of my time , energy in managing charging and it became the focus of all my planning. Super pathetic experience. All thanks to Thrifty.

The customer service kindly asked about the size of the luggage and then upgraded to a larger Nissan for free. Super considerate. The signs for picking up and returning the car were very clear, so I had no problems even as a woman!

After returning home, I was inexplicably charged over 300 dollars. The rental customer service said it was an upgrade fee, but we rented the model we had booked, and no one informed us at pickup. This is outrageous!

Went early, not too many people, and the queue time was short. The service attitude of the rental company staff was average, not too friendly but not rude. They strongly recommended many unnecessary extra items. In the end, I only accepted paying around 50 USD for not having to refill the gas tank upon return. In hindsight, it was unnecessary since there were plenty of gas stations around the return area. Additionally, about three weeks after returning home, my credit card was automatically charged 26 USD. After inquiry, I found out it was due to an electronic toll. The toll was 1 USD, and the rental company's service fee was 25 USD, which seems excessive.

Extremely dissatisfied. The rental company staff were rude throughout the entire process. They set up various obstacles to prevent us from picking up the car. Tried every possible way to charge us extra fees and attempted to forcefully sell us a full tank of gas at a high price. They refused to give us the car unless we bought it. We've rented cars multiple times in the UK, USA, and Thailand and have never encountered such unreasonable behavior. Even in Japan, where the process is the most complicated and strict, we were treated politely. Very disappointed, this is a company that does not respect its customers.

I've always rented cars through this platform, but this time the experience was terrible. After returning the car, the American rental company charged me $280, $275 of which was a management fee and the rest was for tolls. I don't question the toll fees, but the $275 management fee is absurd. I rented a car at the same airport two years ago and didn't have this charge. This fee is almost equal to the rental cost itself, meaning I paid almost twice the amount for the rental. The rental company said the high cost was due to labor costs, but I doubt such a significant difference between companies at the same airport. The customer service representative said they tried to negotiate with the rental company but got nowhere. If they continue to treat Chinese customers this way, this platform should stop collaborating with them to prevent more people from being deceived. Avoid Advantage Rentals at all costs.
