They provided a very poor car, lower in class than what we had booked. The key issue was that it was extremely dirty both inside and out, with no cleaning done at all.

AVIS provided excellent service. My English isn't very good, but the young man at the counter was very patient and didn't speak too fast. I had booked a car with a full tank of gas, but when I was about to drive off, I noticed it was only 3/4 full. After mentioning this to the rental agent, he assured me it was fine and that he would inform the drop-off location. When I returned the car, they accepted it with 3/4 tank, no questions asked. Americans are very trustworthy, and this was just one example.

Like: The whole experience was excellent! I am a first time user of Easy Rent Cars and was really pleasantly surprised. Will use again, Thrifty was fast check in and super fast check out.

Renting cars in the US is very convenient, just don't rent an electric car there!! Absolutely not.

Didn’t have the car I reserved. Card reader didn’t work. Had to process card manually. After 3 different cards, and 15 tries. The kid literally said “maybe it’s our card reader” Who doesn’t have chip readers when their entire business is based on credit card processing? Customer service rating below zero if possible.

Even though I reserved this vehicle several days in advance, when I arrived at the rental facility the gentleman at the desk laughed at me and told me good luck finding a truck. He said he has no trucks and that he would not be able to find one. I went to enterprise just a few miles away and was given the exact pick up truck that I needed and had a very smooth the rental process through Enterprise. I would not recommend or use Hertz again

Like: Polite staff member. no delay getting on the road to complete the journey.
Dislike: Vehicle had a annoying noise from the rear on the highway (i suspect a wheel bearing)

Like: I loved the car
Dislike: Calling hertz on the phone and speaking to the reps I was driving in a massive rain down pour and needed to change location of drop off they could not tell me how far hertz was from hotel I was staying at . Paying more for a different drop off location seems rediculous to me
The guy at drop off location however was very nice
