The lady at the front desk did not recommend insurance, only asked if I wanted E-TOLL.

I returned the car a day earlier than planned. Although I wasn’t expecting it, Dollar proactively refunded me for that extra day—very impressive. Regarding service, the counter staff were fine. However, there wasn’t much assistance during pickup and return; one person just shouted a few things loudly and disappeared, leaving me unsure of what was said. I eventually figured it out after asking for clarification. Part of the confusion was also due to my lack of experience as it was my first time renting a car, and my limited English skills didn't help.

Satisfied, but the queue was too long. AVIS and BUDGET were combined, so there were too many people!

Car exceeded our expectations

There were quite a few people around 11 a.m., resulting in a longer waiting time, but the service was good.

I just found out that AVIS and Budget are part of the same company. AVIS seems to have a high rating in the U.S., and clearly has more users compared to other companies. Their service attitude is good, and their response is fast. The elderly gentleman handling paperwork was very considerate! Overall, it feels way better than SIXT.

The waiting time for picking up the car was a bit long.

It was very crowded that day, and the pick-up process was extremely slow. Initially, they gave me a K4, but I mentioned that this felt like a downgrade and I was worried it wouldn't fit all my luggage. The staff member, a friendly guy, immediately offered to check if there was an SUV available and upgraded me to a Nissan Rogue for free.

Short queue time, simple process, convenient car pickup, even if you don't speak English, you can still rent a car.

Overall pretty good. Picking up the car took a lot of time, but returning it was very convenient. The car was easy to drive. Also, I'm glad I rented a GPS—it was a great help. It cost around $20 per day, which is a bit pricey.

They temporarily added a service costing over ten dollars per day, covering all toll fees. Tolls in the eastern US can be quite complicated, so it's recommended to check the rental company's website for details on toll-related services before your trip.
