Annoyed with the excess, policy, cost me more to reduce the excess than the weeks hire. Your policy of blocking the entire excess is not a way of encouraging repeat business. If you follow the small print of your hire agreement everything will be fine, if you don’t expect to part with more of your money if you want to take the car!
