This time the car pick-up experience was poor. I arrived at the store early and waited for over an hour with no car available. I had no choice but to settle for a sedan that couldn't fit my luggage. Later, I went to the airport to exchange it, but there were still no cars available, so I had to make do. While the staff at the store were polite, they couldn't resolve the issue.

Avis's service has consistently been excellent, much better than other rental companies. This time, the car was in an underground garage, and the staff helped drive the car up to avoid potential collisions downstairs—very thoughtful.

The American rental company was not very reliable. During the rental period, I had to switch cars twice, which wasted a lot of time. The first car had a malfunction, so I replaced it. The second time, I received a parking ticket and found out the car's inspection had expired, so I had to replace it again.

Avis could have been more flexible if the car that we chose is not available, better if they can give us a refund on the difference, but in my case, they won't even entertain us.
