Expensive to run car

Picking up and returning the car was very convenient. It was my first time driving in New York, and everything went smoothly.

Mostly great. However, they parked cars in the exit of the pickup area, so it was very difficult to pick up the car. We had to find someone to help. Unfortunately, they were unable to remove the blocking vehicles, but they were able to remove a vehicle on the far side which allowed us (with some difficulty) to leave.

The pickup process was very efficient.

This company is shameless; they charged me $17 even though the tank was full when I returned the car. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture. They also charged me $35 for towing service they claimed I added when I rented. Ridiculous!

There was sand on the carpet in the front of the car and also sand on the centre console. The inside of the windscreen had not been cleaned properly and when the sun hit it, it was hard to see clearly.

Quite abrupt and repetitive emails when I had questions.
