I had a very bad experience renting from Routes. The poorest customer service ever I had seen.

They deducted the deposit without informing me.

We waited 40 minutes for someone to pick us up, but when we were about to get in the car, it drove off. We called the rental company and waited another 15 minutes before another car arrived. We have rented from this company twice. The first time, we returned the car at 8:00 AM, but there was no one at the lot. We left the keys on the counter and had to take a taxi to the airport ourselves. The second time, when we returned the car after coming back from Banff, no one attended to us for a long time. We handed over the keys and were told we could leave. I insisted on a proper check and signed confirmation that there were no issues. The gas tank was empty when we picked up the car.

They take a lot of time in handing over vehicle after all the process is completed

Was a little sceptical of Routes Vancouver seeing as they weren't one of the main chains. However I found them extremely organised, the price was incredibly good value, the staff were friendly and the car was great. Would definitely use Routes again when I’m back in BC.

Good platform probably one of the best brokers.

I thought the staff could have talked to me more directly. They seemed to think that I knew more than I really did.
