I'm renting from Avis from this point on. Quality with a fare price.

The car provided by the rental company was quite different from what we booked. We reserved a Toyota Camry but ended up with a hybrid RAV4. That said, we drove it for over 10 days and only had to refuel a few times, which is great considering how expensive gas is in the U.S. these days. We extended the rental for another two days because our plans changed, which cost us quite a bit more. To be fair, that's on us for not planning better, but they could improve by offering a uniform rate for extensions beyond a certain number of days. Instead, we ended up paying a steep extra charge—haha, nothing we could do about it.

Great! The staff at the store, though speaking English, quickly understood my needs. Communication was smooth. Since Hawaii's attractions are quite spread out, driving yourself is more convenient.

The waiting time was quite long!

I have been charged 435 US dollars outside of my already paid amount for this reservation. 174 were cut as security and 239 have been cut after we dropped it off. This is highly unprofessional and has not even been authorized. ALSO NO RECEIPT OF THESE DEDUCTIONS HAS BEEN RECEIVED. Please have this reversed.
