The Durango was nice. The pickup and drop-off location was far from the airport with only two shuttles, but then, the price was more reasonable than companies located right at YVR. I think the staff could have been more friendly and helpful. For example, they should probably at least show where the gas cover button is! Thoroughly enjoyed driving the vehicle though!!!

The platform was good and price protector was great. However, when flights were cancelled due to weather in New York, we had to simply cancel and rebook so the price was not as good. Needs to be easier to shorten and/or extend without completely cancelling and starting over.

“Too many surprise costs when I picked up my car at a time when it is too late to do anything about”

The price quoted was extremely good however I did not realise that I would have to buy their car insurance as they would not accept any car insurance outside of north america so could not use the global coverage I already had and is accepted by every other rental agency I have ever used in Canada and in the USA. This increased my rental charge by about 65%.

“After a bad start everything was good”

Had a long wait for pickup from airport Was offered a car that had a cracked windscreen and still to be cleaned I refused that car I enquired about another car on the lot was told it was unavailable. Eventually got another vehicle sitting on the same lot!!!

“Impressive service”

The car was excellent, however, the inside of the windscreen was dirty. This made driving I'm bright sunlight very difficult Also, the windscreen washer fluid did not contain de-icer/detergent and so immediately froze when sprayed onto the windscreen.

“Best price by far, no frills.”

Like: Staff was efficient and very courteous. Clean, low cost office and grounds for incredibly low cost of car rental.
Dislike: The limited free mileage of 200 kilometers made me have to keep that in mind the whole trip, so it limited my trip.
