Very annoying up-selling of insurances and other services by Gold Car staff at Bordeaux airport.

The actual rental company was gold not ace. It was hard to fi and the drop off due to alterations to airport

Platform worked ok

Waited over an hour to pick up the car. When we got to the desk there were 5 customer service people on duty but one by one they left leaving only one person to deal with the last three customers. They clearly don't care.

The car worked fine but was very heavily damaged (large dents and almost every panel was scratched or gouged) and only a 1.4 petrol so a bit under powered for a car the size I had requested.

Fine.

Terrible organisation. Looks cheap on the face of it but then they bully you into taking additional cover when you arrive. Had already paid for extra insurance on time of booking and was told this wasn't sufficient and was useless and was then charged an additional 176 euros on top of the £80 i'd already paid in additional cover. Would never use this company again.
