Staff at the rental counter were really friendly and helpful, but there was some confusion between the insurance I bought on the platform and what the rental company had on their system.

I paid for full coverage in advance, but the rental company still tried to sell me their own insurance. I had to explain that I’d already bought coverage for the rental car through my insurance back home, and only then did they agree not to add theirs. This part can be pretty tricky if your English isn’t great. On the other hand, getting the toll package for $7.95 a day was actually worth it, because in California there are some toll or express lanes—if you accidentally drive into one, it’s really easy to get charged.

Will not use them again, they held the amounts on my card twice, Louis was full of attitude, they weren't very good at their own systems. Pick up location far off site, takes too long to get car. Bad experience.

Returning the car requires washing, and there is an automatic car wash service at the gas station near the airport. Unfortunately, it is not open 24 hours.

Very satisfied. The price was the most affordable on QEEQ, and the credit card deposit was refunded 3-4 days after returning home.

Satisfied. The only shortcoming is that the actual car provided was a Suzuki, but fortunately, the car's condition and capacity met expectations.

Overall, it was quite good. We had an early flight, and although the office officially opened at 8 AM, they started processing at 7:35 AM without any extra fees. They acknowledged that we already had insurance and did not try to upsell us. Both pickup and drop-off went smoothly without unnecessary delays or hassles. The only downside was that they gave me a Hyundai economy car instead of the Polo I requested since it was unavailable. Honestly, driving it wasn’t ideal, but the car was very new, with only 20,000 kilometers on it, so I accepted it reluctantly. In Bosnia and Herzegovina’s mountainous roads, a diesel car would be better. This small car struggled a bit but managed to complete the journey. As of now, the deposit pre-authorization hasn’t been lifted yet, and I reckon it’ll take another month.

Had to wait in line for a bit and the language barrier was real, but overall it still worked out fine since it was on the way anyway.
