Fabulous addition to our holiday in New England.

We were delayed at immigration with an interminable line! By the time we arrived at the Budget office, it was closed. After evaluating the options, I decided to hire a car for 24 hours from Avis; while I was in the Avis office, I heard another customer say that he had a Budget reservation, I asked him about it and he told me that Avis and Budget are the same company, so I was able to pick up the car I had originally reserved from the Avis counter. I was glad I did not spend the extra money on a taxi or additional rental, however a little more information would have gone a long way to relieve the stress and not make us waste another hour looking for solutions, after we had been traveling for more than 24 hours.

The car was fine but there was surprise charge of $12.97 added to my bill and I'm still trying to find out what it was for

I booked insurance through the app but was charged when I was picking up the car. The guy said its the process of budget the insurance isnt charged during booking.
