Was a nice clean car. Got a 2019 KIA Soul which was unexpected but a great little car. Very comfortable had lots of tech and great on fuel. Counter staff were polite and helpful, so was the guy who took me to and inspected the car with me. The price was phenominal. I got full insurance and it worked out to less than $30 a day. I've seen people complain in reviews but I had a great experience. Also I'm more than willing to drive a little further and wait a little bit to get my car for such a great deal. I will definitely use Routes again when I rent a car.

“Too many surprise costs when I picked up my car at a time when it is too late to do anything about”

The price quoted was extremely good however I did not realise that I would have to buy their car insurance as they would not accept any car insurance outside of north america so could not use the global coverage I already had and is accepted by every other rental agency I have ever used in Canada and in the USA. This increased my rental charge by about 65%.

“Great cost effective and safe rental experience!”

The car exceeded my expectations because the nice lady at the desk gave me their newest and best car so I got a Kia Forte which was a lot better than what I had expected. The shuttle to the airport on return could have been better because I think there was some miscommunication and they ended up leaving without seeing us waiting. Luckily I did not miss my flight.

“Best price by far, no frills.”

Like: Staff was efficient and very courteous. Clean, low cost office and grounds for incredibly low cost of car rental.
Dislike: The limited free mileage of 200 kilometers made me have to keep that in mind the whole trip, so it limited my trip.
