Wonderful

There were unexpected charges during the rental. As we had just arrived in the USA, we hadn't activated our phone service yet. By the time we contacted the rental platform, it was past the one-day communication window due to the time difference. About a month after returning the car, additional unexplained charges of around a thousand dollars appeared.

Landed at Orlando airport at 9 PM and quickly found the Dollar counter, but there were a lot of people. We waited in line for about 40 minutes before it was our turn. The service attitude was decent, but the car was just okay. They gave us a Jetta with 80,000 km (similar to a Passat in our country). The power was average, and the car condition was just okay. We got into a minor accident at the hotel entrance after leaving the airport. Since we needed to go through insurance, we waited for the police to write a report. During the return, there was no extra charge. We don’t know if there will be additional charges in the future.

There were too many upsell items during the car pickup.

Car was perfect & a good choice. Dollar staff didn’t offer the option to return the car back with a full tank of gas. They wanted to charge us nearly $80 for the gas. I tried to contact dollar customer services when I found out about this option but with no joy. The lady I returned the car too allowed us to fill the car up with petrol & she removed the fee they wanted.

Loved the price drop option I just wish I could have pre-paid for the car in the uk before our trip
