There are two issues: First, the vehicle condition. They initially gave me a reserved Jeep, but during inspection, I found that the tires were heavily damaged with uneven surfaces. When I started the engine, the tire pressure warning came on. They changed the car to a Yaris, which wasted time. Although the Yaris was new, it felt very light and unstable, which was disappointing, even though they said it belonged to the same category as the Jeep. Second, the fuel policy. Unlike other rental companies, they insisted on seeing my fuel receipt when returning the car. I refueled about 40 km away, and while the dashboard displayed a full 8 bars, they still claimed it wasn’t fully refueled and charged me a fuel penalty of about 25 euros. Today, I also received an email saying the fuel was short by 4.95 liters. Other companies only check the fuel gauge when returning the car, but this was the first time I encountered a company that verifies receipts and fuel station locations. Moreover, when I picked up the car, the dashboard also showed 8 bars. How could I know if the car was completely full when I got it? In any case, I won't rent from this company again.

It's truly frustrating, extremely frustrating. You can only park at P1, and if you accidentally go to P2, you have to take a big detour. The navigation at a roundabout is inaccurate, almost causing me to miss my flight.

The service at the Record Go car rental company at Barcelona Airport was very poor, especially during the return process. When picking up the vehicle, after completing the paperwork, there were no staff members to discuss the vehicle's condition, including its defects or scratches, leaving renters clueless. However, during the return process, they investigate every issue. If you didn't carefully take photos at the time of pickup, you'll be held responsible for all pre-existing damages and scratches on the car.

There was an issue with the fuel gauge. The pump stopped when refueling was supposed to be full, but I added 5 more euros of fuel. When returning the car, it still showed a bit less. The staff said they would verify it with a colleague, but then got busy with other things. We didn't have time to wait as we needed to catch our flight, so we took a photo and left. A week later, they still hadn't verified it. They could at least refund the undisputed part of the fuel charge! Verify the disputed part! But no, they just drag it out! 108 euros, not a cent refunded! Luckily, I took a photo of the fuel gauge when I left, as evidence. Otherwise, with no proof from the staff, where would I go for customer service? Now their response is just to wait! Who knows how long that will be!

Car rental very pushie to get us to buy their insurance. If you did not take up the insurance, they will assign new car with no dent, stain at all. Then even at a slightest chance they will find something to charge damage fee. Ours was scratch at left rim where you can easily remove with polishing. But our argument do not go well with the company.
