When booking through QEEQ, it mentioned that someone would hold a sign to pick us up at the airport and take us to the rental location, but no one was there. We had to call the rental company, and they sent a car to pick us up. Although the staff at the rental company were not very talkative, they were professional and efficient, which is commendable in a generally low-efficiency country like Jordan. However, the car was quite old.
The service was excellent. After arriving at the airport, I called the shop and someone came to pick me up within minutes, as the shop is very close to the airport. During the car handover, the staff was very professional, explained all the scratches clearly, and even suggested that I take a video. When returning the car, they inspected it on site and refunded the deposit immediately. Afterwards, they even provided a free ride to a nearby hotel. Excellent service!
1. Very professional, explained how to use the car and introduced the rental policies; 2. Very flexible, my pickup and return times were adjusted smoothly due to a flight delay; 3. No extra charges, no hidden fees.
The overall service was acceptable. However, four days of car rental plus full insurance cost 1028 RMB, and I ended up with two fines totaling 700 RMB. One fine was 200 RMB for speeding, which I accept since there was electronic monitoring evidence. The other fine was 500 RMB for using my phone, but there was no photographic evidence provided.
The staff was a bit impatient when I couldn't understand what they were saying, but everything else was pretty good. The car didn't have a remote door lock, which was inconvenient. The headlights were quite dim, so it's better to avoid driving at night.
The company discovered a new scratch on the chassis, which I confirmed was not caused by me. Upon reflection, it might have been caused by hotel parking staff, but there was no way to verify this. The company demanded compensation of 150 JD, about 1500 RMB, an exorbitant amount. Their attitude was rude and extremely unreasonable.
