You can walk to the counter of National - Phuket International Airport car rental.

International Terminal: If you arrive at the international hall, please proceed to the National counter located on the ground floor inside the international arrival hall. If you arrive at the domestic hall, please proceed to th National counter located on the ground floor inside the domestic arrival hall.

Drop-off Instructions

To return your vehicle, please contact our counter before arriving and drop of the vehicle at the pick up/drop off outside domestic/international terminal. Our friendly staff will be waiting to complete the check in process.

The car was dreadfully underpowered. Automatic that could barely manage some of the hills in Phuket. This is the second time I`ve had this experience and it makes me wonder if it is intentional! There were only two of us but had we had a car full we would have been pushing it up some hills! It was a new car too!

The service at National was good. No issues there. Quick check-in, then waited just a while to be brought to the carpark to inspect and pick up the car. The car was just alright. It was a bit scratched up and was a 1.2L so it was tough getting up some of the hills in Phuket. I had rented cars in Phuket before and it seems that the local agencies had newer cars.

The staff at the desk in Phuket airport were efficient. The only problem I had was where in the car park Iwas supposed to meet their guy to hand the car over. A similar problem occurred when dropping the car off. The collection and return was the only problem that I had with National. The car was just what I expected.

Because we wanted to drop the car off a few hours later than pick up, National made us make a second reservation for the same day and charged double the rate of our original reservation. Come to find out after paying all the extra and spending an hour at the booth we could have cancelled everything and rebooked for 3 days instead of 2 and a separate one and spent way less. It was a really poor experience. Also because we were told and required to do it the way we did our second reservation was a nicer car but we were downgraded to the car of the first

The car that I rented is good in the interior but the exterior is bad with scratches everywhere and the front bumper clip is broken which caused the bumper to slightly detached. Your staff told me that the bumper which is slightly detached is caused by me. Very unprofessional as he should check first on the pick up car acknowledgment before accusing me for causing it.

I waited for 30-40mins for my car at airport. There were only two other family for car rental besides me and the counter staff forgot to inform their guy to send me the car. How hard was it to call their guy to bring a car while I waited at the exit they told me to wait at ? It was my first time using National, so I was extra cautious. When the car arrived, I took many photos and videos to record everything. The staff at the counter were very polite. During the car inspection, as with other rental companies, there were minor scratches on the car and wheels. The staff was very helpful and quickly documented the noticeable scratches and reassured me not to worry since I had photo records. Returning the car was also quick. The staff mentioned that the 10,000 ฿ deposit would be returned within a week, but it took two weeks for the bank to process the refund. I will definitely use them again.

This is the third time renting from this company. I arrived at 4 a.m., called them, and someone came right away to complete the paperwork. Picked up the car from the parking lot across the street, and for returning, I just went to the arrival level to find a staff member. I was very satisfied with this self-drive car rental experience. National Car Rental provided efficient and considerate service. When I returned the car, I mistakenly parked at the domestic departure terminal instead of the international terminal. Despite communication barriers and unfamiliarity with the roads, their staff patiently came to my location and reassured me with 'No problem'. This made the rental experience exceptionally good.
