Great experience in a small runabout

Among all the car rental companies at Munich Airport, this one had the longest waiting line. The wait was at least half an hour.

I rented a car at Frankfurt Airport in Germany from Dollar Rent-a-Car, sharing an office with two other rental companies. There were few staff members, and the queue was very long, taking three hours to rent the car. We traveled through four countries: the Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, and Germany, and had to pay an extra 50 euros for crossing borders (this was not a highway toll but an additional fee charged by the rental company). This fee was not mentioned in the rental agreement.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. However, the car given to us, while having low mileage and being relatively new, had some issues during driving. The RPMs would spike unexpectedly even at speeds of 50 or 60 km/h, reaching 3 or 4, which made me hesitant to accelerate. Additionally, there was an extra charge for diesel cars, costing 5 euros per day, which wasn't very economical.

Mediocre service. When returning the car, I couldn't find the entrance and sought their help, but they were of no assistance.

Like: I did not want a GPS in the car, was told I would get it anyway, it did not work
Dislike: Signs at the Airport showing where to return Rented cars should be more visible. I almost missed the exit. Last year I needed three attempts
