Excellent. I had booked a SEAT ALTEA 5DR/5PSGR automatic, but was given a Ford Focus wagon automatic instead. It was the high-end version and felt very stable on the highway, even at 180 km/h. The luggage space was also good, which was great since I was picking up people from the airport and the large trunk came in handy. The staff's English was good, but I felt a bit embarrassed when the whole staff and some customers laughed at me for insisting on an automatic (most Germans drive manual cars). Both pickup and return were very quick.

This was my first time renting a car overseas, and I was very satisfied with Budget! We originally rented a Mondeo, but the staff noticed we had a lot of luggage and offered to upgrade us to a Volkswagen with a larger trunk for just 7 euros more per day. This turned out to be the right decision. The car was in excellent condition; it was a diesel and had only 7800 kilometers on it, making it very fuel-efficient. We drove 1700 kilometers in total and spent 138 euros on fuel. Returning the car was also very easy and hassle-free. The staff inspected the car and immediately processed the return. The simplicity exceeded our expectations.
