The rental company added insurance fees without our consent during the pickup process. Even after informing them that we didn’t need it, they took advantage of our limited language skills and still added the insurance. They didn’t communicate the type of insurance they were adding, leading to unnecessary extra expenses. Totally untrustworthy!

Scam! Paid in full in advance but still couldn't get the car! No refund! Staff at the store were rude and sarcastic! Couldn't find any official complaint channels, and our subsequent travel plans were ruined due to this, incurring additional costs exceeding the car rental fee!

I arrived early, but the first Italian staff member refused to give me the car. I had to queue again at the scheduled time and got the car from another staff member.

Booked a Mercedes B class estate (or similar) got a Skoda estate which I was told was equal to a Merc... Thought I then agreed for the delta between used fuel and full tank, not a full tank so again was fleeced of an extra 50 euros. Price doesn't include VAT which is misleading. Kids' car seat pricing is a con as is the charge for an extra driver...
