Overall good, but their attitude worsened after I declined the recommended insurance.

The car was quite old, and they checked the fuel receipt when I returned it.

Pick up was fine. However when u drop off, record go will look for damage meticulously, even if not visible to naked car, they want a claim. They will try and make out dirt is damage. So be careful take pictures of any scruffs and dents and even the smallest scratches.

There were quite a few communication issues during pickup. The staff had a poor attitude, and after completing the paperwork, they simply tossed the car key without performing any vehicle inspection.

The company provides good service and doesn't force customers to buy insurance. They will give you a brief introduction.

Car was a little tired although only about 40+k on log. But overall it was fine.

The car was god value for money and we had no issues with the car through the whole hire period. Not all marks on the car at the point of hire had been marked on the paperwork but were on the iPad the staff were using. So this slowed the process down at pick-up. On return, the staff were extremely fussy about the condition and in particular the interior of the vehicle. Based on many years of car hire experience, I had never paid much attention to the interior condition at pick-up but small stains on seats were identified that i had trouble explaining away and this on a 40k miles car. Advice to future hirers - be very cautious of condition at pick-up.

Check-in was the worst we’ve experienced and we’ve rented many cars in Valencia with all the companies. The 2 agents working that day were so busy chatting and giggling with each other and the other workers that we were stuck in a LONG line of people waiting to check in or check out. It took us 1 hour and 20 minutes to get the car and there was no reason for the delay. Every customer in line was clearly as annoyed as we were. That said, our return went smoothly and quickly with a different employee so no complaints on our return. We will not use this RecordGo location again, however.

They also offer motorcycle rentals. Overall experience was pretty good, and contrary to what others say, purchasing additional insurance was not mandatory. I only placed a deposit of 1200 euros without buying extra insurance, just the basic coverage from the car rental company. QEEQ is quite reliable. They rarely check translation documents or notarized certificates.
